Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis, Institute of Pharmacy has organized a National Seminar of Pharmaceutical Analysis on “Challenges & Opportunities of Biosimilars” on 17th August 2019. Dr. Saneev Kumar, President at Zydus Cadila, Ahmedabad was the Chief Guest of the function. Dr. Utpal Tatu (Professor, IISc, Bangalore), Dr. Sridevi Khambhampaty (Vice President, Biosimilar Product Development, Intas Ltd., Ahmedabad), Dr. Sanjay Bandopadhyay (Vice President, Biotech Division, Zydus Research Centre, Ahmedabad), Dr. Sabyasachi Halder (Head, Biologics Characterization Facility, Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platform, Bangalore) and Dr. Ravishankara MN (General Manager (R&D)- Functional Head, Analytical Development (Biologics), Sun Pharma, Vadodara) delivered various scientific sessions on the theme of the national seminar. About 50 participants from various institutes of Gujarat had participated in the seminar and presented posters on the theme of the seminar.
