The study intends to investigate the effect of ionizing radiations on the physicochemical stability of selected APIs and their formulations. It will provide experimental data regarding the safety and efficacy of the irradiated medicines as well as toxicity of the impurities. It can be useful to estimate the possible effect of radiation on pharmaceuticals stored in spacecraft, which will provide insight to develop space-hardy formulations for future astronauts.
