85 Seats are filled by the ACPC, Gujarat state. The candidate needs to apply to the ACPC for centralised admission process. Eligible candidates would be allotted admission as per the merit prepared considering the results of the qualifying exam (12th board exam) and GUJCET of the current year.

If the seats remain vacant after completion of the admission process by the ACPC (i.e., after the final round of allotment), then admissions of vacant seats would be processed directly by the Institute as per the norms and instructions of the ACPC.

 

15 Seats are filled by the Institute as NRI category (NRI self / NRI ward / NRI sponsored) as per the norms of the ACPC. The interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria may apply through the downloadable form from the Institute website within a stipulated time period as per the ACPC norms by payment of application process fees.

  1. The candidate has to apply through the  downloadable form.
  2. Application fee (Non Refundable): Rs. 350/- plus applicable taxes
  3. The application will be treated as complete only after the payment of  the  application fee and submission of a  hard copy of the downloaded application form along with  the requisite documents at Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
  4. The application form will be treated as cancelled if the candidate fails to satisfy the above instructions & requirements.
  5. Institute timings- for submission of application form :

Monday to Saturday: 10.00 am to 4.30 pm

(2nd & 4th Saturdays are holidays at the Institute)

  1. Important Dates: Application form will be made available from May 2019.

The last date for application is as per the ACPC guidelines.

Admissions are as per norms of the ACPC, GoG. Eligibility as per  the ACPC Booklet will be considered as final.

 

Eligibility for Non-Resident Indians (NRI) Candidate

  1. The candidate must have passed the qualifying examination abroad and is exempted from appearing in GUJCET or candidate who has passed the qualifying examination from a school located in India and has NRI status.
  2. The NRI candidate will have to produce equivalence certificate of the qualifying examination from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.

Eligibility for NRI Sponsored Candidate

  1. The candidate must have passed the qualifying examination in India and must have appeared in GUJCET of the current year. The admission will be granted based on the merit list prepared as per the ACPC rank.
  2. The candidate will have to produce a sponsorship letter (as prescribed) from an NRI who will undertake to pay all tuition and other fees for the entire degree program.
  3. Documentary evidence of sponsor having NRI Status must also be produced.

Following categories of people will be considered as NRI

  1. The passport of a candidate indicating his/her status as ‘Non-Resident Indian’.
  2. Certificates of Non-Resident Indian issued by the Indian Embassy/Indian Consulate of the Country where the Non-Resident Indian is residing.
  3. Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)/ Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) card holders.
  4. Persons who have studied outside India and have passed either 10th or 12th standard (or must be appearing for the qualifying exam in the current year) or equivalent from any system of education subject to the eligibility conditions and have NRI status.
  1. NRI seats will be filled in by the candidates who have passed the Qualifying Examination from the schools located abroad. Merit list for these seats shall be based on the qualifying examination. First preference will be given to NRI candidates in the admission. After existing NRI candidates merit list, if the seats remain vacant, the same will be filled-up by NRI-Sponsored candidates.
  2. NRI-sponsored seats will be filled by the candidates based on Merit list as per ACPC rank.
  3. Download application form from here. The same should be filled with the correct information (as per Instruction) with application fees (non-refundable) to be paid in cash/cheque/ demand draft at the Institute.
  4. Provisional merit list with a detailed programme of counseling will be displayed on the website in Results.
  5. The candidate is required to follow admission procedure and schedule, declared time to time at the office of the Institute and website.

Documents to be submitted for NRI Candidates

  1. Marksheets of S.S.C. (X) and H.S.C. (XII)
  2. GUJCET Score Card
  3. School Leaving Certificate or Transfer Certificate
  4. Passport of Self / Parents / NRI sponsor (As applicable)
  5. Affidavit of sponsorship letter from sponsoring person (Original document should be submitted on the day of counseling)
  6. Proof for Validity of Visa
  7. Equivalence Certificate from Association of Indian Universities, Delhi for Candidates who have passed HSC / XII exam from outside India
  8. Candidate’s Photograph (JPG image size of should less than 200 kb)
  9. Candidate’s Signature (JPG image size of should less than 200 kb) – Optional
  1. In case of doubt in the interpretation of any clause(s) or in dispute on any issue, the decision of the Chairman of the UG Admission Committee – 2018 shall be final.
