  • The application for MPharm admissions must be submitted online through the “Online Admission Application Portal” of Nirma University. A downloadable form is NOT AVAILABLE.
  • Thoroughly refer step-wise guide before starting an online application.
  • If one is unable to complete the Online Form in one sitting; one can also save the entries made in the form and complete them in next sitting. Whenever one makes entry/changes in the form do not forget to click the “SAVE” button.
  • The fields like Full Name of applicant, Mobile Number and Email are mandatory and not editable in the future.
  • The application processing fee is worth Rs 1,250/- is to be paid by online mode (using credit card / debit card / net-banking / UPI / wallet). The admission application processing fee is non-refundable in any case.
  • If at any stage of the admission process, it is found that a candidate does not satisfy the eligibility criteria or the information furnished by him/her is incorrect, his/her application for the Programme admission will stand canceled.
  • The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination in relevant discipline from a recognized university with minimum % of marks (or equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Index) as prescribed by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and/or Govt. of Gujarat from time to time.
  • Candidates who are appearing for the final semester of the qualifying examination (BPharm) can also apply. In such a case, the candidate is required to submit the result as soon as the same is available either by email or by fax (scanned image).
  • If an applicant has passed the qualifying examination (BPharm) from a university other than Nirma University, then he/she will be required to obtain an eligibility certificate from Nirma University. The arrangement for obtaining the same will be made on the spot at the time of admission on payment of Rs 1,000/-.
  • Appearing for counseling does not guarantee admission.
  • The original documents should be produced at the time of admission.
  • The eligible applicants with valid GPAT score will be given preference for admission in all the branches, and the admission will be given based on the merit of the GPAT score.
  • Seats that remained vacant after considering the qualified GPAT candidates, would be offered to Non-GPAT candidates as per merit of the National Level Online Entrance Exam conducted on the day of counseling at Nirma University campus.
  • The exam comprises multiple-choice questions and it would be inline with the GPAT exam.
  • If equal rank in case of GPAT candidates, and equal score in case NON-GPAT candidates occurs; then the merit of qualifying examination (i.e. BPharm) will be considered.
  • The applicants will be given admission after checking testimonials and related documents. In case of any dispute/doubt in the interpretation of any clause, the decision of the admission committee shall be final.

15% of total seats in each program being conducted at the constituent institutes of Nirma University, is available for admission to International Students under the Supernumerary categories like Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries and South East Asia (CIWGC-SEA), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) and Foreign Nationals (FN); out of which one-third i.e 5% seats are earmarked for CIWGC-SEA and 10% for OCI/FN. If the OCI/FN is not filled, the quota is available to CIWGC-SEA.

Categories for International Students

A) Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries and South East Asia (CIWGC-SEA)
The candidates whose parents are working in Gulf countries or South East Asia are eligible under this category.

B) Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
The persons who are citizens of other countries (except Pakistan and Bangladesh) who at any time held an Indian Passport, or who or either of his parents or any of his grandparents was a citizen of India by virtue of the provisions of the Constitution of India or Sec 2 (b) of Citizenship Act, 1955 (Act No. 57 of 1955) are eligible under this category. Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) are considered under this category. Earlier OCIs were called PIOs.

C) Foreign Nationals (FN)
The citizens of all countries other than India, who are not of Indian origin as defined under PIO are eligible under this category. This category includes SAARC countries also.
