  • The application for MPharm admissions must be submitted online through the “Online Admission Application Portal” of Nirma University. Downloadable form is NOT AVAILABLE.
  • This application form consists of six sections, and then the final payment option.
  • After entering the data into each section, click the “SAVE & NEXT” button provided at the bottom right side of each section and you will move to the next section.
  • Some of the fields in the Application Form are mandatory and marked with a * mark. They must be completed accurately for your application to be considered valid.
  • One may not complete the Online Form in one sitting. One can save the entries made in the form and complete it in more than one sitting. Whenever one makes entry/changes in the form do not forget to click the “SAVE” button.
  • The fields like First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth and Email are mandatory; and not editable in the future. If you make any mistakes in these fields, you need to contact the help desk to edit the same.
  • The application processing fee is Rs. 1,250/- for all categories.
  • Once the candidates complete entries in all the sections of the form, they should proceed to “Payment Details” for making the payment. You will be taken through the steps to make payment via various options, and are required to select the Online Payment option (Credit/Debit card or Net Banking) or Offline Payment option (Cheque or Demand Draft). The applicant selecting the payment option other than the online payment mode has to submit Demand Draft or Cheque personally at the institute.
  • The Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of “INSTITUTE OF PHARMACY, NIRMA UNIVERSITY” payable at Ahmedabad (Applicant should write his/her complete name & Application Number on the backside of the Cheque or Demand Draft). The institute will accept payment on all working days between 09:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. (The institute shall be closed on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays).
  • If at any stage of the admission process, it is found that a candidate does not satisfy the eligibility criteria or the information furnished by him/her is incorrect, his/her application for the Programme admission will stand cancelled. The admission application processing fee is non-refundable in any case.
  • Candidates should provide their contact details such as E-mail, Mobile Number, Address, etc. as mandatory field in the application form.
  • The candidates must have passed the qualifying examination (BPharm) from a recognized university with minimum aggregate marks* or equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Index* (CGPI) or any other qualifying degree examination considered as equivalent to a BPharm degree by Nirma University, Ahmedabad. (*as per AICTE & PCI norms)
  • Candidates who are appearing for the final semester of the qualifying examination (BPharm) can also apply. In such case, the candidate is required to submit the result as soon as the same is available either by email or by fax (scanned image).
  • If applicant has passed qualifying examination (BPharm) from a University other than Nirma University, then he/she will be required to obtain an eligibility certificate from Nirma University. The arrangement for obtaining the same will be made on the spot at the time of admission on payment of Rs. 1,000/-.
  1. Appearing for counselling does not guarantee admission.
  2. The applicants will be given admission after checking the testimonials and other related documents.
  3. The eligible applicants with a valid GPAT score will be given preference for admission in all the branches, and the admission will be given based on the merit of GPAT score.
  4. The NON-GPAT candidates will be admitted based on the merit of the written test conducted by Nirma University. The procedure will be initiated only if the seats are vacant after considering the qualified GPAT candidates.
  5. For NON- GPAT candidates, the entrance test will comprise of multiple choice questions. There will not be any negative marking. The syllabus for the test will be related to Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry (Including Pharmaceutical Analysis), Pharmacology and Pharmacognosy of B.Pharm. level.
  6. If an equal rank in case of GPAT candidates, and an equal score in case NON-GPAT candidates occurs; then the merit of the qualifying examination will be considered.
  7. The Original documents should be produced at the time of admission.
  8. In case of any dispute / doubt in the interpretation of any clause, the decision of the admission committee shall be final.
