ADVERTISEMENT OF JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF)

Applications are invited from suitable eligible candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work at Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University for full-time research on the project entitled “‘Exploring Heterocyclic Scaffolds as Telomerase Inhibitors for the Treatment of Cancer”, sponsored by Nirma University, Ahmedabad under Scheme of Financial Assistance for the Major Research Project.

Principal Investigator: Dr. Hardik Bhatt, Associate Professor & Head, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University

Co-Investigators: Dr. Vivek Vyas and Dr. Bhumika Patel, Assistant Professors, Department of Pharm. Chemistry

Duration of Project: 2.5 years (upto March 2024)

Fellowship: Rs. 21,700- per month (upto March 2024)

Eligibility:

Essential: M. Pharm / M.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences/Chemistry with minimum 55% aggregate

Desirable:

• GATE/GPAT qualified candidates with good academic record possessing experience preferably in the area of Synthetic Medicinal Chemistry

• Good oral and written communication skills
