Student seeking admission to PharmD under Nirma University must have passed the examination in any of the following

  1. 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects, Mathematics or Biology or Both
  2. A pass in D.Pharm. course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.
  3. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.

Provided that a student should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the course.

  2. The Application form fee is INR 1200/- and is non-refundable.
  3. Payment must be made online using Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking.
  4. An online payment acknowledgment receipt will be generated and must be uploaded with the application form.
  5. Your application will be treated as complete only after the payment of application fee and allocation of registration number.
  6. Online application submission on the IPNU website is mandatory for admission.
  7. Candidates are required to upload self-attested copies of all necessary certificates along with the application form.
  8. The documents required to be uploaded along with the application forms are as follows:
    • Marksheet of the HSC examination (12th Std-10+2 pattern).
    • Marksheet of Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm.) for the 1st and 2nd year (if applicable).
    • Any other certificates deemed necessary by the Admission Committee.
    • Specimen-Affidavit for NRI/NRI sponsored category.
  9. Please refer to the Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University website for announcement dates, the last date of application, the announcement of the merit list, and any other required documents.
  10. All original documents should be submitted for verification during the admission process at the Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University.
  11. If any document is found to be incorrect or false during the admission process, your admission will be canceled, and legal actions will be taken against the candidate or parents who submitted such documents. In the event of any discrepancy, the decision of the admission committee shall be final.
  12. The merit list will be declared as per the given schedule.

  4. Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University (IPNU)-Pharm.D. Admission Committee by advertisement in newspaper as well as on website will announce the dates of invitation of application, last date of application, announcement of merit and other required details.
  5. To get the admission online, application on the IPNU website is mandatory from the website.
  6. A candidate has to upload the self-attested copies of requisite certificates and testimonies as specified in the application form along with.
  7. A candidate shall require to make payment of Rs. 1200/-as a non-refundable amount as a part of application fees. Acknowledgement receipt will be generated online and that is required to be uploaded with the application from.
  8. Physical document verification is mandatory and will be carried out at IPNU.
  9. Merit list will be declared by IPNU as per the declared key dates and based upon the same admission process will take place.

All original documents are to be verified at IPNU as per the announced dates of document verification/admission published on IPNU website/Newspaper Advertisement.

Document verification process is mandatory and must be completed before final admission. If any document found incorrect/false the admission will be cancelled. Also, legal actions will be taken against the candidate/ or parents submitting such documents.

15% of total seats in each program being conducted at the constituent institutes of Nirma University, is available for admission to International Students under the Supernumerary categories like Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries and South East Asia (CIWGC-SEA), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) and Foreign Nationals (FN); out of which one-third i.e 5% seats are earmarked for CIWGC-SEA and 10% for OCI/FN. If the OCI/FN is not filled, the quota is available to CIWGC-SEA.

Categories for International Students

A) Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries and South East Asia (CIWGC-SEA)
The candidates whose parents are working in Gulf countries or South East Asia are eligible under this category.

B) Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
The persons who are citizens of other countries (except Pakistan and Bangladesh) who at any time held an Indian Passport, or who or either of his parents or any of his grandparents was a citizen of India by virtue of the provisions of the Constitution of India or Sec 2 (b) of Citizenship Act, 1955 (Act No. 57 of 1955) are eligible under this category. Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) are considered under this category. Earlier OCIs were called PIOs.

C) Foreign Nationals (FN)
The citizens of all countries other than India, who are not of Indian origin as defined under PIO are eligible under this category. This category includes SAARC countries also.
