As a part of the Academic Transformation series, an expert talk was arranged by Dr. Amit Jaharapurkar on the topic “Rediscovering Drugs: Role of Innovation” on 20/10/2023 in the Seminar hall. Dr. Joharapurkar gave excellent insights on rediscovering the existing drugs for clinical use through 505(b)(1) NDA, 505(b)(2) NDA and 505(j) ANDA as well as discussed case studies for drug repurposing for market exclusivity. All the Faculty members, PhD students and MPharm students interacted with them. The Talk was coordinated by Prof. JIgna Shah, Department of Pharmacology.
