Dr. Bhumika Patel, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University, recently delivered a keynote talk titled “Lead Identification through In Silico Ligand-Based Pharmacophore Modeling and Virtual Screening: A Case Study on Selective PARP1 Inhibitors” at the International Conference on “In Silico Trends and Approaches in Drug Discovery and Development” organized by the University of Doha for Science and Technology in Doha, Qatar from October 22 to 24, 2023.
In addition to her keynote address, Dr. Bhumika also served as a jury member for the evaluation of flash presentations given by conference participants and participated in a panel discussion on the structure and scope of the “Pharmacy Technology” program.
