Dr. Tejas M. Dhameliya Asst. Prof., Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University (IPNU), has received the Teachers Associateship for Research Excellence (TARE) project from Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. He will work on the project entitled as “Design and Development of Anti-cancer Heterocyclic Scaffolds as Type I DNA Topoisomerase (Topo 1) inhibitors” under the supervision of Dr. Sivapriya Kirubakaran, Asso. Prof., Discipline of Chemical Science, Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar (IIT-Gn). This shall foster and strengthen the collaborative research initiatives and efforts between IPNU and IIT-Gn towards the discovery and development of anti-cancer agents.
