The Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Nirma University’s Institute of Pharmacy hosted a dynamic one-day workshop on ‘Computer Aided Drug Design Software,’ in collaboration with Advent Informatics Pvt. Ltd., India, and the Centre of Continuing Education on February 17, 2024.
Our aim was to provide both theoretical insights and practical experience with cutting-edge software utilized in computer-aided drug design. We’re happy to report an overwhelming response, with a total of 30 participants, including undergraduates, postgraduates, doctoral candidates, and esteemed faculty members. Notably, 23 participants hailed from institutions across Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Rajkot, and Vadodara.
Dr. Pathan Mohsin Khan, Application Scientist at Advent Informatics Pvt. Ltd., Pune, led the introductory session on software and facilitated hands-on training with the MolSoft software.
