The Department of Pharmaceutics at the Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University hosted one day Seminar on Nano Drug Delivery [SNDD 2024] in collaboration with the Centre of Continuing Education on February 17, 2024, with the aim of providing insights into the latest methods and equipment used in nano-formulations. The event gathered esteemed speakers and participants from academia and industry to share knowledge and foster collaboration in the field of pharmaceutical sciences.
The seminar commenced with an inaugural address by the head of the Department of Pharmaceutics, welcoming the esteemed guests and participants. Dr. Tushar Nahata delivered a comprehensive presentation on the advancements in nano drug delivery systems, highlighting the challenges and opportunities in the field. Mr. Suhas Yewale’s presentation focused on the latest technologies and equipment available for nano-formulation development, providing valuable insights into the industry perspective. Following the sessions, there were interactive panel discussions and Q&A sessions where participants had the opportunity to engage with the speakers and delve deeper into the topics discussed. Additionally, there were hands-on training sessions conducted to familiarize participants with the practical aspects of nano-formulation techniques and equipment.
The seminar attracted a total of 62 participants, including faculty members, students, and researchers from various academic institutions. SNDD 2024 served as an exemplary platform for knowledge exchange and networking within the pharmaceutical sciences domain. The insightful presentations and interactive sessions provided invaluable learning opportunities for all participants, enriching their understanding of nano-formulation techniques and equipment.
