Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University, Celebrates 21st Foundation Day
The Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University, celebrated its 21st Foundation Day on October 1, 2024. The event was inaugurated by our esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. Madhvi Joshi, Scientist D and Joint Director at the Gujarat Biotechnology Research Centre, Gandhinagar. Shri K. K. Patel, Vice President of Nirma University, and Dr. Anup Singh, Director General of Nirma University, presided over the program.
Prof. Dr. Gopal Natesan, Director of the Institute of Pharmacy, welcomed faculty members, students, staff, parents, and alumni to the celebration. During the event, Dr. Madhvi Joshi released the Institute’s Placement Brochure and the latest edition of the Radiance Newsletter.
A variety of competitions, including rangoli, T-shirt painting, elocution, extempore, and poetry, were held to engage and showcase the talents of students. Awards were presented to faculty, students, and staff for their outstanding achievements during the academic year 2023-24, with special highlights including the awarding of the Gold Medal to a meritorious student and the recognition of a Prominent Alumna from the Batch of 2011. The Entrepreneur of the Year Award was also presented to celebrate excellence in innovation and entrepreneurship.
It was a memorable event that reflected the Institute’s commitment to academic and professional excellence.
