The Institute of Pharmacy, in collaboration with the Centre for Advanced Instrumentation, Nirma University, successfully hosted a one-day seminar and workshop on “Principles and Applications of Particle Size Analyser.”
🔬 The session featured an expert lecture by Dr. Namrata Jain, Senior Application Scientist at Horiba India Pvt. Ltd., who also conducted a live demonstration of the Particle Size Analyser in action.
Particle size analysers are essential tools used to measure the size and distribution of particles in a sample. These instruments play a critical role across various industries—especially in pharmaceuticals—where they aid in product development, quality control, and R&D. They help characterize powders, liquids, and suspensions, impacting processes such as grinding, milling, and formulation.
