📢 Pharmacy Week Celebration at Nirma University! 🎉
On 24th September 2025, the Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University organized a Body Composition Analysis & Nutrition Awareness Program in collaboration with the Indian Dietetics Association (IDA), Gujarat Chapter and the Department of Biochemistry & Forensic Science, Gujarat University.
💡 Highlights of the Program:
✅ Expert talk by Dr. Alka Sanghavi on the importance of body composition monitoring beyond just weight or BMI.
✅ Use of advanced analyzers measuring BMI, skeletal muscle mass, visceral fat, hydration status, metabolic rate, and more.
✅ One-on-one counseling sessions with Dr. Renu Singh and a team of IDA dieticians.
✅ Participation from professors, staff, Pharm D students, and Ph.D. scholars.
✅ 150+ participants took individual assessments and pledged to adopt one healthy lifestyle practice!
This initiative empowered participants with personalized insights into their health, practical nutrition guidance, and preventive healthcare awareness. 💪🥗
