The Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University organized a Workshop on Zotero Software on 13/01/2026 under the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC-I).
The workshop was conducted by Dr. Virendra Goswami, Senior Assistant Librarian, Nirma University, Ahmedabad, for first-year M.Pharm students and PhD scholars. It focused on effective reference management for research writing using Zotero, an open-source tool.
Participants were trained in creating libraries, adding and organizing references, attaching and annotating PDFs, and generating citations and bibliographies using Microsoft Word integration. Hands-on practice was encouraged throughout the workshop.
Overall, the workshop was practical and beneficial, enhancing participants’ skills in literature management and academic writing.
Around 57 first-year M.Pharm students and PhD scholars attended the session.
The workshop was coordinated by Dr. Charmy Kothari, Coordinator, IQAC-I, Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University.
