Distinguished faculty from Binghamton University (SUNY)

The Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University was honored to host distinguished faculty from Binghamton University (SUNY), School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, from 5th to 7th January 2026.

We were privileged to welcome Dr. KarenBeth H. Bohan and Dr. Elizabeth Hageman, whose visit featured extensive academic interactions, insightful student engagements, and experiential learning discussions. A key highlight of the visit was the tour of partner hospitals under the existing MoU, where Nirma PharmD students receive structured clinical training, strengthening practice-based education and patient-centered care.

The dignitaries delivered excellent talks and interactive sessions for PharmD students on U.S. pharmacy education, licensure pathways, postgraduate training, and professional growth, while also engaging with faculty, students, and parents through meaningful academic discussions.
