The Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University, in collaboration with the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) and Chromachemie, successfully hosted a one-day event, “Impurity Insights,” on 14 August 2026, with the theme “Risks of Non-Compliance: Managing Impurity Control and Reference Standard Challenges.”
The event brought together pharmaceutical professionals from Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and Pharmaceutical Sciences to interact with USP experts and gain valuable insights into impurity control, regulatory compliance, and reference standard management.
The programme highlighted the importance of academia–industry partnerships in bridging the gap between academic knowledge and industrial practices, while fostering knowledge exchange, professional development, research opportunities, and industry-relevant education.
