Achievements

The Institute has embarked on journey of achieving seemingly insurmountable targets. The teachers and students are our assets. They have brought many laurels at state, national, and international levels. Students and teachers enthusiastically participate in the national and international level events and bring pride to the Institute.

  • IPNU received  NBA ( National Board Accreditation) for the B.Pharm programme  for a period of three years 2019 to 2022.
  • IPNU achieved the First Rank amongst the Pharmacy Colleges in Gujarat state with a Five Star Rating in Institutional Rating Framework (GSIRF) 2021.
  • The Institute has shown its presence at the national level by being ranked 5th in NIRF -2016 by MHRD, Government of India. For subsequent years also institute has maintained its ranking in the top 20 institutes.
  • Institute of Pharmacy, received an infrastructure development grant worth Rs. 5.5 million under the FIST program of the Department of Science and Technology (DST) for the year 2015– 2020.
  • Parth More (BPharm student) has secured the first rank in the national level examination – GPAT 2010 under the aegis of the National Monitoring Committee, AICTE, New Delhi.
  • Bhagyashri Fachara (BPharm student) has received the M L Khurana Medal from Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) for securing the highest grade in the BPharm programme in the year 2012.

Vishal K Chavda, PhD Research Scholar, Department of Pharmacology, Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University has received FENS (Federation of European Neuroscience Societies) Grant Award and FENS Voucher Programmer Grant award in FENS 2020 Virtual Forum held on from 11th July-15th July, 2020. He has presented a online research poster and oral talk on his PhD Research entitled, “Neurotrophic and cerebroprotective effects of sexagliptin and voglibose: “In-silico to in-vivo animal investigational approach” at FENS virtual forum. FENS 2020 was jointly organized with British Neuroscience Association (BNA) at Glasgow, UK.

Vishal Chavda of Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University, received YITP International Brain Research organization (IBRO) award in the World Conference of Neuroscience at IBRO 2019

PhD scholar, Vishal Chavda of Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University, received YITP International Brain Research organization (IBRO) award in the World Conference of Neuroscience at IBRO 2019, organized by IBRO and Federation of Asian and Oceanian association of Neurology also co-hosted by Korean Brain research Institute and Korean Neurological Association at Daegu city, South Korea. He received grant of 1000 USD for expenses during stay in Korea. He had presented his PhD research work as a Conference Paper and research poster which has been Published in IBRO Reports, Elsevier.
He is also awarded with IBRO Young Scientist Award 2019 at IBRO 2019.
