The Pharm.D. (Post-Baccalaureate) program is a three-year, full-time professional course approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Designed for B.Pharm graduates, the program integrates advanced clinical and pharmaceutical sciences with hands-on patient care experience to prepare students for dynamic roles in healthcare and pharmacy practice.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission into the Pharm.D. (Post-Baccalaureate) program, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.    

  • Online Application: Available on the official website.URL:
  • Application Fee: ₹1,200 (non-refundable).
  • Payment Methods: Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking.
  • Document Submission:
    1. Self-attested copies of 10+2 marksheet.
    2. Self-attested copies of all D.Pharm marksheet as a single pdf (if applicable)
    3. Self-attested copies of all B.Pharm marksheets as a single pdf.
    4. Specimen Affidavit for NRI/NRI sponsored category (if applicable) along with other proofs.
    5. Other required certificates as specified by the Admission Committee
  • Candidates must upload self-attested copies of the all the required certificates with the application form.
  • An online payment acknowledgment receipt will be generated upon successful payment. This receipt must be uploaded with the application form.
  • Your application will be considered complete only after successful payment of the application fee and allocation of a registration number.
  • Submission of the application through the IPNU online portal is mandatory for admission.
  • Candidates must upload self-attested copies of all required certificates along with the application form.
  • All original documents must be submitted for verification during the admission process at the Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University.
  • If any submitted document is found to be incorrect or fraudulent, the admission will be cancelled, and legal actions may be taken against the candidate or their parents.
  • The merit list will be published as per the announced schedule.
  • Admission Inquiries: Inquiries to the Institute may be made during the following timings:
    1. Monday to Friday: 9.00 am to 5.00 pm
    2. Saturday (odd): 9.00 am to 1.30 pm

The online application is available on the official website. Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₹1,200. The payment can be made using a credit card, debit card, or through net banking. The submission is considered complete only after the successful payment of the application fee and the allocation of a registration number. Payment acknowledgement receipt generated online should be uploaded with the application form.

  • Candidates must register and apply online on the Institute website separately.
  • Seat allotment will be carried out based on merit and the availability of seats.
  • Merit will be prepared based on the  marks obtained in the IPNU National Level Online Entrance Exam followed by personal interview

15% of the total seats are allocated for international students under the Supernumerary categories, including Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries and South East Asia (CIWGC-SEA), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), and Foreign Nationals (FN). Among these, 5% of seats are reserved for CIWGC-SEA and 10% for OCI/FN. If the OCI/FN seats are not filled, they become available to CIWGC-SEA applicants.
