Atul Garkal working as a Ph.D. scholar at Department of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology, Institute of Pharmacy Nirma University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India since July 2019 under the guidance of Prof. Tejal Mehta. He holds Master?s degree (Master of Pharmacy) from Sinhgad college of Pharmacy, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, Maharashtra, India. His current research interest focuses on development of formulation for treatment of posterior segment eye diseases. He has 2 year?s of work experience in formulation and development at S. Zhaveri Pharmakhem Pvt. Ltd. Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He has also 10 months of experience as Senior Process Associate in regulatory documentation at TATA Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd. Pune, Maharashtra, India (July 2016-May 2017).
