Dhara Bhayani is a full-time PhD scholar at Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University and a Senior Research Fellow at Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). She has completed her Master of Pharmacy from Nirma University in the field of Pharmaceutical Analysis. As a doctoral student, her research project explores the stability of pharmaceuticals in the simulated space radiation environment. Her multidisciplinary research work involves irradiation of pharmaceuticals at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Inter University Accelerator Centre (IUAC) etc. and their physicochemical stability analysis. Apart from radiochemistry and stability studies, her areas of interest are Impurity profiling, Elucidation of drug degradation pathways, Phytoconstituents analysis from plant extract etc.
