About
Dr Dhaivat Parikh has 15 years of teaching and research experience. He is a recipient of Best Assistant Professor of Institute for Innovation in Teaching Methodologies for the year 2015 by Nirma University. He is actively involved in Consultancy and Testing at Department. He has been awarded with Certificate of Appreciation as a Special Recognition for his Performance in Institute Alumni Relations Activities. His major area of interest is Novel Drug Delivery Systems specifically to Gastro-Retentive Drug Delivery Systems, Formulations for Oral Cavity, Medicated Chewing Gum, etc; as well as Topical Nano-formulations. Currently, his major role at the institute is Admission Coordinator an Vice President of IPNUAA (Alumni Association). He has Eight International publications to his credit including two articles in Expert Opinion on Drug Delivery (having a high impact factor above 4). He has also been awarded "Outstanding Faculty Award" for his significant contribution to the development of University website. He has presented his research work by an Oral presentation at International conference PharmaTech-2012 held at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; as well as presented research poster at International Conference - APSGB's PharmSci 2014 held at University of Hertfordshire, UK. He is a life member of many Professional bodies like APTI, IPA, ISTE, IPGA, IHPA, APA, SDPS, APP, SPER, etc. He has rendered his professional services to many leading Universities of Gujarat.
