• Dr Jigar Shah has 19 years of teaching and 8 months of industrial experience. He has published 65 research and review papers in high impact factor Journals (total impact factor 255, total citations 2000 and h-index 25). He has presented 45 research and review papers at national and International conferences including conferences at Washington DC, USA (2011), and Vancouver, Canada (2016), with international travel grants (Worth Rs.4.5 Lakhs) received from Govt. Agencies like SERB, DST, CICS and ICMR respectively. He received the “Best Presentation Award” at an International conference in Canada. He has written 05 book chapters and 01 book, with highly reputed publishers like CRC Press, Taylor and Francis, John Wiley & sons, etc. He is currently working on Major Research Project from GSBTM (worth Rs.25 Lakhs). He had successfully completed the research project sponsored by GUJCOST (worth Rs.7.0 Lakhs), received various research grants from Nirma University (worth Rs. 5.0 Lakhs) and international grants as coinvesitgator (worth Rs.21.0 Lakhs). He is a recognized PhD, PG Guide at Nirma University. He has 01 patent granted and 01 patent published at Indian Patent Office. His area of interest is Novel drug delivery systems. He is an academic editor, toic editor and reviewer of the various reputed International Journals of Elsevier, Springer, Bentham Science, Frontiers, Informa Healthcare and Wiley etc. He is invited as expert for research grant review by QNRF, and Ajman University, UAE. He is research advisory committee panel of various reputed universities. He is a recipient of GOLD MEDAL in M. Pharm. programme. He has received many awards and prizes for best research papers. He is felicitated a number of times for “Outstanding Performance” as a faculty and researcher for the years 2012, 2014, 2017, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 during foundation day of Institute of Pharmacy. He is a member of various international and national pharmacy societies like AAPS, CRS, WASET, IPA, APTI, ISTE, IPGA, SPER, and IHPA.
