  • Dr. Mayur Patel, Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics, has more than 19 years of teaching experience. He has more than 70 International and National Publications with a total impact factor of more than 200, total citations more than 3400 and ‘h’ index of 31. Dr. Patel is listed amongst World’s Top 2% Scientist Published by Stanford University for last Six Consecutive years i.e., from 2020 to 2025. Dr. Patel is a recipient of Total 6 research project grants worth approx. Rs. 133 lakhs; 05 grants worth approx. Rs. 78 lakhs as Principal Investigator and 01 grants worth approx. Rs. 55 lakhs as Co-Investigator. Dr. Patel has received the Prestigious "Young Pharmacy Teacher of the Year Award - 2019" from "Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI)”. He has also received EUDRAGIT® Award 2016 (second prize) for publishing highly innovative papers at National Level. Dr. Patel holds one granted patent and one published patent with the Indian Patent Office. He has attended and presented papers at various national and international level conferences including the one at Singapore for which he has received travel grants from DST, CICS. Dr. Patel is a reviewer for many high impact factor journals of publishers like Elsevier, Informa Healthcare Ltd., American Chemical Society (ACS), PLOS One, to name a few. He has been invited to contribute a Book Chapter on “Drug Delivery: Oral Colon-Specific” in Encyclopedia of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology, 4th Edition, 2013, Published by Informa Healthcare Inc. UK. He is a recognized PG and Ph.D. guide at Nirma University.
