  • Dr. Mayur Patel, Associate Professor in Department of Pharmaceutics, has more than16 years of teaching experience. He has more than 60 International and National Publications with a total impact factor of more than 185, total citations more than 2000 and ?h? index of 23. Dr. Patel is listed in World?s Top 2% Scientist Published by Stanford University for last Three Consecutive years i.e. 2019, 2020, 2021. Dr. Patel has received the Prestigious "Young Pharmacy Teacher of the Year Award - 2019" from "Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI)?. He has also received EUDRAGIT® Award 2016 (second prize) for publishing highly innovative papers at National Level. He is a recipient of a major research project from Nirma University worth Rs. 28,92,400/-. He is also the recipient of a minor research project worth Rs. 4,00,000/- from Gujarat Council on Science and Technology (GUJCOST). He is reviewer for many high impact factors journals of publishers like Elsevier, Informa Healthcare Ltd., American Chemical Society (ACS), PLOS One, to name a few. He has been invited to contribute a Book Chapter on ?Drug Delivery: Oral Colon-Specific? in Encyclopedia of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology, 4th Edition, 2013, Published by Informa Healthcare Inc. UK. He was felicitated Ten times for ?Outstanding Performance? for the year 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 during foundation day at Nirma University. He is a recognized PG and Ph.D. guide at Nirma University.
