Dr. Mohit Shah brings over 15 years of experience spanning both academic research and the pharmaceutical industry. He holds an MPharm and a PhD from the Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University, where he currently serves as a recognized postgraduate and doctoral supervisor. Dr. Shah is actively engaged in teaching a wide array of subjects related to pharmaceutics across undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs. His expertise lies in the analysis and interpretation of patent literature and technical data, patent landscaping, and conducting Non-Infringement and Freedom-to-Operate (FTO) analyses. His research contributions include three granted patents, eight international publications, and a book chapter. He has authored or co-authored over 15 papers and posters presented at various state and national seminars and conferences. A recipient of the Best Student Award during his MPharm program, Dr. Shah continues to be an active contributor to the advancement of pharmaceutical sciences. His current research interests focus on the development and optimization of novel drug delivery systems, employing Quality by Design (QbD), Design of Experiments (DoE), artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML), and 3D printing technologies. His work particularly emphasizes multi-particulate and vesicular systems for topical, transdermal, and targeted drug delivery applications.
