About
Dr Shital Butani has more than 20 years of research and teaching experience. She has completed a Major project entitled "Exploring non-equilibrium atmospheric plasma for effective sterilization including biological safety aspects" and working on another research project ""Feasibility Study of Waste Water Treatment using Non-Thermal Plasma from the Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS), Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India.", a minor project from Gujcost entitled "Development of self-emulsifying drug delivery system of the poorly water soluble antihypertensive drug", received a travel grant from DST to attend the conference in Lisbon, Portugal. She has guided five PhD students (including students having WOS A and CSIR fellowship) and currently guiding four scholars. Dr Butani has received "Project Excellent" award during her tenure at Zydus Cadila Healthcare Ltd., Ahmedabad. She was a volleyball player in the junior level team of Gujarat and played national competition at Tripura. She has published many papers in reputed national and international journals. She is recognized PhD guide and a member in ISTE, APTI, IPGA etc bodies.
