The Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University, was delighted to host an Alumni Guest Lecture by Dr. Atul Garkal (19FTPHDP55), Post-Doctoral Fellow at Johns Hopkins University, USA.
Dr. Atul delivered an engaging talk on “Advanced Biopharmaceutical Strategies for Sustained Ocular Therapeutics,” sharing insights into innovative ocular drug delivery systems, his research on nanofiber-based therapeutics for Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD), and advancements in biopharmaceutics and pharmacokinetics.
He also inspired students and research scholars by sharing his journey from PhD to post-doctoral research and providing valuable guidance on higher studies, research opportunities, and careers in academia and pharmaceutical sciences.
