🌟 Successful One-Day Faculty Development Programme

The Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University, in collaboration with the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi, successfully organized a One-Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Effective Implementation of the B. Pharm New Curriculum (2026)” on 7 August 2026. The programme brought together pharmacy educators from across Gujarat to deliberate on the effective implementation of the revised B.Pharm curriculum in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

The programme began with a Welcome Address by Prof. Dr. Gopal Natesan, Director, Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University, who emphasized the importance of faculty development and effective implementation of the new curriculum. The Inaugural Address was delivered by Shri Jashubhai H. Chaudhari, Vice-President, Pharmacy Council of India, who emphasized the vision behind the new B.Pharm curriculum (2026), the implementation of NEP 2020, outcome-based education, skill development, experiential learning, and the pivotal role of faculty members in transforming pharmacy education to meet national and global expectations.

The Presidential Address by Prof. R. N. Patel, Director General (i/c), Nirma University, inspired participants to embrace innovation, quality, and academic excellence in pharmacy education.

The programme also featured the felicitation of Central Council Members of PCI and the President and Vice-President of the Gujarat State Pharmacy Council for their significant contributions to the pharmacy profession.

The insightful sessions, interactive discussions, and enthusiastic participation made the FDP a grand success, with participants expressing immense appreciation for the valuable learning experience.
