The Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University, Ahmedabad, hosted an Academic Transformation Series talk by Mr. Sangram Gokhale, Consultant, Scientific Solutions, ACS International India Pvt. Ltd., on September 3, 2024. The talk, titled “Demonstration of CAS SciFinder-N and CAS SciFinder Discovery Platform,” was attended by faculty members and Ph.D. research scholars of the Institute.
Mr. Gokhale began the session with an overview of the American Chemical Society (ACS) and the various services provided by CAS (Chemical Abstracts Service). He then conducted a detailed demonstration of three major modules: CAS SciFinder, CAS Formulus, and CAS Analytical Methods. Using examples provided by research scholars, he illustrated the practical applications of each module and emphasized the significance of CAS services in advancing research.
The session was highly interactive, featuring a dynamic question-and-answer segment that engaged all participants.
