Prof. Virinder Parmar, Adjunct Professor, Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University, Ahmedabad and Faculty in Nanoscience at the CUNY Graduate Center and in Chemistry at Lehman College & Medgar Evers College, The City University of New York, USA delivered a Guest Lecture on “Crucial Role of Natural Products in Drug Discovery & Development ” on 9th February, 2022. He shared various successful stories of his research group where his research group developed various novel lead compounds from plant species like Piper nigrum & Psoralea corylifolia for the mitigation of bacterial infections & inflammation. Overall, the expert session enlightened the students and faculty members with the process of the drug development from the natural resources.
