Advertisement for Recruitment of Senior Reseach Fellow (SRF) under DBT Project

Applications are invited for the position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in a DBT-funded project entitled “Modulation of biosynthetic pathway for enrichment of bioactives in Bacopa monnieri using biotic elicitors”. The project will be undertaken at the Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University, Ahmedabad.

Co-Investigator: Dr. Neeta Shrivastava, B.V. Patel Education Trust, Ahmedabad

Post: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

Essential Qualification:

• Sc. (Microbiology/Biotechnology)/M.Pharm/M.Tech. with minimum 60% aggregate marks.
• NET/GATE qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of research experience with at least 1 publication in an indexed journal.

Desirable:

• Good academic record.
• Experience in microbiological and phytochemical work.
• Basic knowledge of molecular biology techniques.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Emoluments: Rs. 42,000/- + 24% HRA (subject to qualification and experience)

Duration of fellowship: 1 year (extendable)
