The Institute of Pharmacy at Nirma University organized an Alumni Lecture on the topic “Regulatory aspects for the design and development of medical device” for M.Pharm. Regulatory Affairs students, featuring Mr. Swastik Suthar, an alumnus of the 2018 M.Pharm. program on 27th March 2024. Mr. Suthar, currently serving as a Regulatory Affairs Consultant, shared insights on navigating medical device regulations. He emphasized key steps like risk assessment, clinical testing, and regulatory submissions for ensuring device safety and compliance. Collaboration with experts and staying updated on standards were highlighted for successful device commercialization.
