An alumni talk was organized by the Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University, on May 10, 2024, featuring Dr. Manan Shah, currently serving as an Assistant Manager in Global Pharmacovigilance at Zydus Lifesciences Limited, Ahmedabad. The topic of the talk was “Vaccine Safety Surveillance” focusing on the importance of vigilant monitoring. Dr. Manan emphasised that ensuring vaccine safety through robust surveillance is crucial from a regulatory perspective, especially in light of the current Covishield scenario.
