The Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University, organized an Alumni Talk on December 8, 2025, featuring Mr. Nishith Thakkar (11BPH039), Deputy Manager – IPR Department, Amneal Pharmaceuticals, Ahmedabad.
Mr. Thakkar delivered an insightful session on “Patent Infringement and Legal Aspects of National vs. PCT Filing Pathways” for M.Pharm Semester I students (Pharmaceutical Analysis & Regulatory Affairs), PhD scholars, and faculty members. The session covered various types of patent infringement, supported by real-world case studies from the pharmaceutical industry, and highlighted the scope and advantages of patent applications under the PCT framework.
