The Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University, commemorated the 2nd National Pharmacology Day in honour of Col. R. N. Chopra, the Father of Indian Pharmacology, with this year’s theme, “Fostering Drug Discovery for Better Health.”
As part of the celebration, we were privileged to host Dr. Anupama on 18 August 2026 for an insightful guest lecture, “Drug Discovery – The Road Less Taken and Why?”
Dr. Anupama shared valuable perspectives on the challenges, opportunities, and unconventional approaches shaping modern drug discovery, inspiring students to embrace innovation, interdisciplinary thinking, and perseverance in pharmaceutical research.
The session was coordinated by Dr. Jigna Shah and Dr. Pallav Gandhi.
