On August 2, 2025, DESHRAAG 2025, a University-level Patriotic Group Song Competition, was proudly organized by the School of Technology, Nirma University under the aegis of the Students’ Welfare Board at the NIM Auditorium.
A total of 11 teams from across various institutes at Nirma University participated — 8 student teams and 3 faculty-staff teams. The Institute of Pharmacy student team was among the enthusiastic and spirited participants. The event was graced by Dr. Anup K. Singh, Director General of Nirma University, whose inspiring speech added significance to the occasion. The competition was presided over by Dr. Himanshu Soni, Director, School of Technology.
Esteemed judges Mr. Mayank Dave and Mr. Neeraj Pathak, both renowned artists, praised the exceptional talent showcased by the teams, remarking that the performances made judging a true challenge. The auditorium was filled with energy as heads of institutions, cultural coordinators, faculty, staff, and students came together to celebrate patriotism and support their teams.
The winning team was awarded a trophy, and all participants received certificates in recognition of their heartfelt performances.
