Prof. Suvarn S. Kulkarni, Professor, Department of Chemistry, IIT Bombay, Powai, Mumbai 400 076, INDIA delivered a Guest Lecture on “Stereochemistry” to B.Pharm semester-IV students on 21st February, 2022. Prof. Kulkarni very well discussed about the basics of stereochemistry, different isomerism, element of symmetry, chirality, absolute and relative configuration, 2D and 3D representations of molecules, atropisomers, 3D stereo models, etc. Overall, the expert session enlightened the students about the basics of stereochemistry and its importance in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
