The Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University organized an Expert Lecture on 3rd February 2026 for B.Pharm Semester VI students, featuring Prof. Stephen Kerr, Assistant Provost for International Affairs & Professor of Medicinal Chemistry, MCPHS University, Boston, USA.
With over 30 years of experience, Prof. Kerr delivered an insightful talk on “Pharmaceutical Biotechnology – The Future for Medicine”, highlighting advancements in gene therapy, mRNA technology, personalized medicine, vaccines, and biologics, and their role in transforming modern healthcare.
The session was highly informative and inspired students to explore biotechnology as a promising career pathway.
