This workshop is intended to provide exploration of different Computer Aided Drug Design (CADD) tools and techniques which could be useful for budding scientists, students, and faculty members. The processes used by academic and industrial scientists to discover new drugs have recently experienced a true renaissance with many new and exciting computer-aided techniques being developed in the past 5-10 years.
The aim of the workshop is to disseminate knowledge about the drug design and application of computational techniques for hit/lead discovery against life-threatening diseases like cancer, HIV, malaria, TB etc. The workshop introduces technology through the lectures delivered by experts. The workshop will include hands-on practice on some important computer aided drug design techniques like pharmacophore modelling, molecular docking, virtual screening and in silico ADMET parameters. Attending the workshop will be of great help to budding researchers/ scientists from various fields as it covers how to use different techniques of drug design.
