This course is being offered online by both institutes to their students and faculty of USC and Nirma University are teaching them jointly. The course is unique in its kind as it focuses on the clinical therapeutics for the treatment of Type 2 Diabetes through a variety of diverse perspectives including drug mechanisms of action, pharmacology, treatment guidelines in the United States and India, natural products, regulatory issues, pharmacoeconomics, and future directions for therapeutic development in the pharmaceutical industry. This course will provide an opportunity to collaborate with international colleagues and will help students in exploring global perspectives in diabetes drug development and treatment.
