Dr. Shital Panchal (Assistant professor, Department of Pharmacology, Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University) received Inter-disciplinary Research Project entitled “Epidemiology of Anemia in Pre-school Tribal Children of Eastern Gujarat with Reference to Etiology, Pathophysiology and Nutritional Impact” worth of Rs 18,60,610 /- for one year from Indian Council of Medical Research, New Delhi.
Dr Sarat Dalai (Director, Institute of Science), Ar. Sharad Panchal (Institute of Architecture and Planning), Dr. Charmy Kothari (Institute of Pharmacy). Dr. Vijay Kothari (Institute of Science), Dr. Umang Mishra (Dept. of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of Gujarat, Gandhinagar) are Co-investigators for the project.
This is first government funded interdisciplinary research project of Nirma University which is in collaboration with Health Department of Govt. of Gujarat.
