On March 27th, 2024, NSS, School of Technology, Institute of Technology, Nirma University, arranged the dynamic drama competition “Vimukti” aimed at raising awareness against addiction. The event witnessed spirited performances by various Nirma University teams, showcasing a spectrum of narratives ranging from emotional dramas to light-hearted comedies.
The competition concluded with the NSS Unit; Institute of Pharmacy team emerging victorious. The winning team, “The Pharmacist,” gave a riveting presentation stressing the dual nature of addiction by emphasizing the medical benefits of substances like alcohol as well as their dangerous effects when overused. Their performance delivered a touching message to the youth, advocating against drug usage with the powerful mantra “we will not take it, we will not allow it.”
