Pharmathon–2026 was successfully organized by NIPSA on 27 January 2026 at the Nirma University campus, centered on the theme “Antibiotic Stewardship.” The event aimed to sensitize students and the campus community about the rational use of antibiotics and the growing global challenge of antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
The initiative blended academic engagement with public health advocacy through a Poster Making Competition and an Antibiotic Stewardship Awareness Rally conducted across the campus.
During the rally, students carried informative posters and placards highlighting key messages such as the dangers of antibiotic misuse, the importance of completing prescribed antibiotic courses, and the critical role of healthcare professionals in combating antibiotic resistance. Participants actively interacted with students, faculty members, and visitors, spreading awareness on responsible antibiotic use.
The rally effectively amplified the message beyond the competition, fostering awareness and encouraging responsible attitudes toward antibiotic usage in the campus community. 💊🌍
