The Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University observed Anti-Ragging Day on August 12 and Anti-Ragging Week from August 12–18, 2026, with an Anti-Ragging Poster Competition organized on August 12.
Around 50 students from the B.Pharm and Pharm.D programmes participated enthusiastically, expressing their creativity through impactful posters that highlighted the harmful effects of ragging on mental health, academic performance, dignity, and overall well-being.
Through vibrant visuals and powerful messages, the students emphasized the importance of mutual respect, inclusivity, empathy, speaking up, reporting incidents, and seeking timely support. Their thoughtful participation reflected a strong commitment to creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
The event was a great success and reinforced the Institute of Pharmacy’s commitment to fostering a safe, respectful, inclusive, and completely ragging-free campus environment.
