Empowering young women and promoting safety!
💪 Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University organized a ‘Self-Defense Workshop’ for girl students of BPharm Sem I, PharmD First Year, MPharm Sem II, and PhD scholars (new entrants, 2023 batch) on February 16, 2024, as part of our Women Development Cell (WDC) activities.
Led by Mr. Rushiraj Jaiswal from Rushiraj Karate Kungfu Federation, Ahmedabad, the workshop covered essential topics like situational awareness, assertiveness, and physical self-protection techniques. With interactive demonstrations and hands-on practice, attendees gained valuable skills to recognize and effectively respond to potential threats. The enthusiasm and active participation of our girl students made this workshop a success, empowering them with lifelong self-defense abilities.
