Strengthening Translational Toxicology: Nirma University at the 4th ADC Toxicity Summit 2026, Boston

We are pleased to share that Dr. Shital Panchal, Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University, participated as a speaker in the 4th ADC Toxicity Summit 2026 in Boston, USA, contributed to a pre-conference workshop on:

“Building Robust Preclinical Strategies to Validate New In Vitro Systems & Design Smarter, More Predictive Non-Clinical Packages.”

The workshop brought together experts from academia and industry to discuss emerging approaches for improving the predictivity and translational relevance of preclinical drug-development strategies.

Key areas of discussion included:

🔹 Predictive applications of organoids and microphysiological systems

🔹 Computational toxicology and advanced approaches for toxicity prediction

🔹 Reverse translation of clinical safety signals into improved preclinical models

🔹 The evolving role of New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) in drug development

🔹 Development of more robust and predictive non-clinical safety packages

🔹 Opportunities to reduce reliance on traditional animal-based approaches through scientifically validated alternatives

Participation in such international scientific forums provides valuable opportunities for knowledge exchange, academic–industry interaction, and identification of emerging directions in translational toxicology and drug safety.

The Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University remains committed to advancing innovative, evidence-based approaches in pharmacology, toxicology, preclinical research, and drug development, while fostering meaningful collaborations with the global scientific community.

We congratulate Dr. Shital Panchal on her participation and contribution to this important scientific discussion.
