The Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis, Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University, in collaboration with the Centre for Advanced Instrumentation, Nirma University, hosted a one-day event titled “Workshop on Analytical Instruments” under the auspices of the Centre for Continuing Education, Nirma University, on March 19, 2024.
The workshop encompassed comprehensive explanations of various analytical techniques, accompanied by hands-on training sessions on analytical instruments such as High Performance Liquid Chromatograph (HPLC), Gas Chromatograph (GC), High Performance Thin Layer Chromatograph (HPTLC), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer (FTIR), UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, Spectrofluorimeter, Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC), and Particle Size Analyzer.
A total of 40 participants, including undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD scholars, as well as faculty members, from various institutes across Gujarat, registered for the event.
