✨ Successful Completion of CCE Workshop on Computer-Aided Drug Design (CADD)! ✨
The Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry & Analysis, Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University, successfully organized a One-Day Workshop on Computer-Aided Drug Design (CADD) under the banner of CCE on March 13, 2025.
🔬 The workshop featured interactive and hands-on sessions on cutting-edge in silico drug design techniques, empowering participants with essential computational skills.
👨🏫 Expert Sessions & Hands-on Training:
🔹 Dr. Udit Chaube guided participants through ADMET property prediction using SWISS ADMET, Osiris Property Explorer, and admetSAR.
🔹 Dr. Tejas M. Dhameliya led sessions on structure-based drug design, including molecular docking with AutoDock Vina and docking analysis using PyMOL.
🔹 Dr. Vivek K. Vyas provided insights into homology modeling, leveraging online databases like SWISS-MODEL and validation tools such as the Ramachandran Plot, ERRAT, and PROCHECK.
