NCIP 2025

The National Conference of Institute of Pharmacy (NCIP), organized biennially by the Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University (IPNU), is a prestigious event dedicated to exploring emerging trends and challenges in the pharmaceutical field. Each edition of NCIP focuses on a unique theme, encouraging innovative approaches to pressing issues in healthcare and pharmaceutical sciences. For NCIP 2025, the 6th edition, IPNU will emphasize the theme “Harnessing Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning in Pharmaceutical Innovations to Address Global Health Challenges.”

This conference aims to explore how AI and ML can drive breakthroughs in drug discovery, personalized medicine, diagnostics, and global healthcare solutions. With sessions on topics like predictive modelling, drug delivery systems, and data-driven drug design, NCIP 2025 will highlight the transformative role of AI/ML in accelerating pharmaceutical advancements.

Speakers from both academic and industry backgrounds will provide insights into cutting-edge research and practical applications of AI in pharma, addressing key health challenges such as infectious diseases, chronic conditions, and global health inequalities. Workshops, panel discussions, and poster sessions will also allow participants to engage, collaborate, and share their findings on AI-enabled innovations. Through this initiative, the Institute of Pharmacy at Nirma University reaffirms its commitment to advancing pharmaceutical research and fostering a community dedicated to improving global health outcomes through technology.

Please read and follow the guidelines below before submitting your abstract.

KINDLY SELECT THE APPROPRIATE TRACK BEFORE SUBMISSION OF THE ABSTRACT

    • The abstract must be written in British English language and an informative synopsis/ summary of the research / review work.
    • Abstract should contain Title, Name(s) of Authors, Affiliation(s) along with the postal address of Authors, Email address of Presenting Author and body text of abstract.
    • The Title should be specific to reflect the work to be presented.
    • Title should be in Times New Roman, Bold, font size 14, single line spacing, centered and Titled case.
    • Title should be in Times New Roman, Bold, font size 14, single line spacing, centered and Titled case.
    • Authors name should be described as Surname followed by Name in Times New Roman, font size 12, single line spacing, centered and Titled case.
    • The name of presenting author should be underlined.
    • In case of more than one affiliation, each affiliation may be marked by numbering in superscript after the name of author.
    • Email address of Presenting author should be in Italics, Times New Roman, font size 10, centred and in lower case.
    • All abstracts should follow the structured format; with the subheadings of Introduction, Methods, Results and Conclusion. Bold the subheadings.
    • The body text of the abstract (not exceeding 250 words) should be in Times New Roman, font size 10, single line spacing, justified and in sentence case. Margins for left, right, top and bottom should be 2.54 cm (1 inch).
    • The full term for which an abbreviation or acronym stands should precede its first use unless it is a standard use or unit of measurement.
    • Do not include references in the abstract.
    • Provide a maximum of 5 keywords that will assist in the cross-indexing of the article.

  • All oral presenters are required to complete the “Consent for recording of presentation and the use of presentation materials” form prior to the scheduled presentation.
  • Presenting author of accepted abstract has to present work during paper presentation (oral) session in the conference.
  • The language for presentation is strictly in English.
  • The paper presentation number should be included on the first slide of the presentation.
  • The use of presentation tools like figures, charts, tables, etc. is preferable.
  • The conference accepts only PowerPoint (.ppt or .pptx) presentations.
  • All presentations should be emailed to the conference secretariat one day prior to the scheduled presentation. A Speaker Ready Room will also be made available for minor adjustments to presentations as needed before submission.
  • For those who wish to have their oral presentation accompanied by audio visual presentations, they should essentially inform the conference secretariat via email one day prior to the scheduled presentation.
  • Each oral presenter will be allocated 8 minutes for their power point presentation and 2 minutes (max) for questions and answers with the audience. The time schedule will be strictly adhered to by the session chair. If the presentation exceeds 12 minutes, the session chair will interrupt, and the time of question and answer session will be shortened.
  • Each oral presentation will be judged.
  • Prizes will be awarded to the best oral presentations from each track.
    • Please prepare your poster in with dimensions of width 3 ft × height 3 ft (or 36 x 36 in).
    • The official language of the conference is English.
    • The poster presentation code will be listed on the upper corner of a board to guide you the location of board to mount your poster.
    • Make sure that the poster presentation code in the 6th NCIP 2025 Programme Book matches the poster presentation code of a board before you mount your poster on the board.
    • Poster Fixing Materials will be supplied at the Registration or Secretariat Desk.
    • If you need any assistance, please contact the Help Desk during the conference hours.
    • Please be present at your poster during your presentation time to maximize your chance of networking and presenting your valuable work to international and local attendees.

  • Registration fee covers day time hospitality during conference days*, proceedings and kit for the registered delegates.
  • Registration fee is non-refundable. However, change in nomination can be permitted only on request.
  • Register online for regular updates of the conference; however, registration will be confirmed on receipt of registration fees.
  • Attractive group discounts for participants are available as follows:
    • Group of 5 and above: 1 complimentary registration over 5 regular registration will be given. Complimentary registration applies to the minimum registration fee in case of different categories of registration.
    • Important instructions to avail discount on Group Registration and follow-up Registration Process:- 
      All participants of the group have to register online individually.
      The group has to send the list of all the group members mentioning their name, email address, and category of registration to  registration.ncip@nirmauni.ac.in to get the Discount Confirmation.
    • The registration committee will confirm the total amount to be paid by a group for all the members via email.
    • After payment of the total amount, all the group members have to finish the registration process by entering the same transaction number in the online registration form and upload a copy of the payment transfer slip received from their bank.

Q. How do I register?
Ans: You can register online through google form. If you have any questions or concerns, please email to the Registration Committee at  registration.ncip@nirmauni.ac.in

Q. What is included in the registration fees?
Ans: Registration fee covers day time hospitality (Breakfast and Lunch) during conference days, proceedings and kit for the registered delegates and access to speaker presentations and certificate of participation.

Q. Is there an additional discount for groups of 5 or more?
Ans: Yes, there is a discount for groups of 5 or more from the same University or Institutions, please contact the Registration Committee at registration.ncip@nirmauni.ac.in or details.

Q. I am registered, but cannot attend. Can I cancel or transfer my registration?
Ans: You have the option to replace yourself with another person at no additional cost, but please note that we do not provide refunds or registration transfers. This policy is clearly outlined on the payment page during registration and in the confirmation message.

Q. How do I know that I have successfully registered?
Ans: Upon verification of your payment by our Accounts Department, we will send a confirmation email to the email address you provided during registration within one week.

Q. How can I cancel my registration?
Ans: To cancel your registration, please contact Registration Committee:  registration.ncip@nirmauni.ac.in No refund will be possible.

Q. How to make my payment for registration?
Ans: The only accepted mode of payment is online, through a bank transfer to the account specified on the website. Cash, cheques, demand drafts (DD), and similar methods are not taken into consideration.

Q. When are the key registration deadlines?
Ans: 15th January 2025 for Paper Presenter.

Q. How do I submit my abstract?
Ans: Submit your abstract using our Abstract submission in google link. Please strictly follow the Guidelines for Abstract Preparation and Submission. You shall refer to the “Abstract Template” for the preparation of your abstract.

Q. I am the Co-author of the paper; Can I present the work?
Ans: You are not permitted to present the work. Only First Author is permitted to present.

Q. Do I need to submit an abstract to attend the Conference?
Ans: No, you can directly register as a Delegate.

Q. What is the word limit of the abstract?
Ans: 250 words are allowed per abstract.

Q. How many abstracts am I allowed to submit?
Ans: The first (presenting) author is allowed to submit only one abstract, while they can participate as a co-author in multiple other abstracts.

Q. Will my abstract be published?
Ans: All accepted abstracts submitted by the first author who has registered and paid the registration fee will be included in the conference proceedings of the NCIP 2025.

Q. Is online oral presentation permitted from my place?
Ans: No, Oral presentations are permitted by physically attending conference at Nirma Campus.

Q. Will all co-authors in the paper receive a certificate?
Ans: No, only the presenting author will receive a certificate.
